What is Remy Hair?
Remy hair is the premium quality of hair and is popularly known as virgin hair and cuticle hair. The hair bundle has the hair arranged in such a way that the roots of all the hair in the entire bundle are on one side and the tip on the other side. Remy hair has its cuticles intact. In other words, all the cuticles are unidirectional (in same direction) and are undisturbed. The majority of human hair sold in beauty supply stores is non-cuticle hair which means the hair cuticle has been stripped which also leads to lots of shedding and tangling.
How Much Hair Should I Purchase?
This depends on the: (1) the fullness you want and (2) the extension method used. Below is a guide to aid you with your purchase of hair extensions.
Full head sew in weave:
1 pk (4 oz) = A half head of extensions
2 pks (8 oz) = A full Head of extensions
1.5 pks to 2pks (6-8oz) = A full head of extensions with a closure piece or frontal piece.
Strand by Strand Method:
200 strands = A natural look
300 strands = A full look
400 strands = A fuller look with lots of body
Quality Control
With all of our virgin Indian Remy hair we use a delicate process to inspect, shampoo, condition, air dry and package the hair. Our hair retains its outstanding and natural quality because it has not been exposed to harsh chemical treatments and has been groomed using hypoallergenic products.
All of our hair is 100% Remy human hair which signifies that all cuticles remain intact and run in the same direction from root to end. The cuticles protect the hair from damage and prevent it from tangling and matting. Remy hair behaves exactly like your own hair and can be washed, blow-dried, curled, flat ironed, colored and permed while maintaining its original beauty and vitality. Keep in mind that just as the strength of your natural hair is hampered when you apply chemicals the same will happen with all human hair extensions so if you do apply color or perms properly condition and protect the hair to extend its life.
Do You Have a Showroom?
No. We are an online hair boutique. However, we do have a dedicated customer service center that handles all inquiries via email. The only way to view our products is through our website. All of the pictures on our website are of actual products so rest assured that you will receive the item ordered.
How Do I Get Specialized Customer Assistance?
We respond to all emails within 1 business day. We currently have no live support immediately available. For this reason we have tried to develop our website with a tremendous amount of information to educate you on our hair and to aid in your decision purchases. However, if you want to speak with us, we will definitely make ourselves available to speak with you. Simply email us and let us know that this is your preference.
What Are the Payment Methods That You Accept?
For payment, we accept the following:

Do You Offer Refunds or Exchanges?
We do offer exchanges and refunds for store credit but these are permitted to a limited extent. Please see our Refunds & Exchanges Policy. Please be aware that it is against federal law to resale used hair products which is why we can only accept our hair products in its original and unused condition.
How Long Does It Take to Process My Order?
All orders are processed Monday - Friday. If orders are placed on Saturday, Sunday, after business hours, or on holidays, then we will process your order on the following business day. If you have a need for a rush order, please let us know the date by which you need your order to arrive and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Can I Color Your Hair?
Yes. You can color our hair. The virgin hair textures take color very well, both permanent and semi permanent. You can color our hair to a lighter brown color with little damage to the hair. If you are going for a lighter blonde color, you would need to bleach the hair then color it or take the hair through several coloring treatments. You can do this, however, we do not recommend it. This will minimize the longevity of the hair.
Cancer Patient Discounts
eXtensions of You offers a 20% discount rate on hair extensions products to Cancer Patients. In order to receive the discount, the customer must mail, email or fax us documentation from a doctor stating the cancer diagnosis and treatment. This must be on the physician letterhead. After verification we will provide the discount.
